Hi,

Sorry if this has already been discussed here...

I know that the fvwm2 included with RH-5.0 is very hacked up for
fvwm95 support and the fancy afterstep like animation stuff and I've
noticed that this completely breaks some of the features of fvwm2-2.0.46
, I'm talking about stuff like windowstyles and pixmaps (try out
http://tigert.gimp.org/files/screenshots/FvwmTheme.tar.gz). I've confirmed
this by removing some of the patches from the src.rpm and rebuilding it,
the features now work as they should. The question are a few little things
like an afterstep wharf and animation worth the loss of the powerful theme
support included with fvwm2 2.0.46?, I don't think so. Anyway I hope this
gets fixed for RH-5.1, it would be cool if we could have the best of both
worlds. If I find the time, I'll try to sift through the patches and find
what the cause of the breakage is, I can confirm that the -rh and the
-fixes patch are not the cause since I kept these in my build.

        Marc
