Mine works fine. I don't know why the hardware compatibility guide
says it doesn't.
Only real secret: compile a new kernel with support for EIDE floppies.
Else you won't be able to eject the disk while Linux is running.
Secret #2: Same secret as with CD-ROMS -- you have to unmount it to
eject it.
I did add it to my BIOS list as a hard drive. Looking at the doc for
EIDE floppy support, I'm not sure whether that was necessary or not.
Because I added it to my BIOS list I must have a disk in the drive in
order to boot (else the BIOS foofs about hard drive error etc.).
