        I think this has as much to do with time allocation as anything
else.  The guys at RH are really swamped with stuff and they've only got a
handful of developers (thus the announcement about the job opening).

        Hell, I'd put in my resume for that position if it weren't for two
things:  One, I doubt I'd qualify as I don't have the C/C++ programming
experience they probably want and Two, I'd be taking a BIG salary cut.  If
I didn't have a wife and a baby I'd probably try anyway but with them the
$52K I make now is a little tight.  (OC, living in the Washington DC area
doesn't help any).

        Anyway, you get this wandering rambling message back on some
semblance of topic; I think that 5.1 will be released before my 16 month
old makes it into kindergarten.  :-0
