Hi all, Recently, I am having the following two problems with my RH5.0. 1) Cannot surf the Internet. After PPP connection and selecting an URL (e.g., www.redhat.com), all I got is the clock and nothing moves. 2) When I boot the system, I saw following messages: "Starting at NFS Service: rpc.mount Cannot register service: RPC: unable to receive error=Connection Refused rpc.nfcd Cannot register service service: RPC: unable to receive; error=Connection Refused Starting amd ..... " <booting stucked here about 1.5 minute> My RH5.0 was fine and the only thing I remember were: - I uppdated lots of RPMs (from RedHat Errata) - I tried to boot the system with a zip drive hooked to the printer port. But I have a SCSI CD-ROM drive (this was my dumb action). I don't know if these two problems are related, but I need some lead on how to fix the problems. My thanks in advance!
