I recently downloaded gimp-0.99.22-1.i386.rpm and tried to install it
and received the following failed dependencies:
libxdelta.so.0
libpng.so.0
libm.so.6
libgtk.so.1
libglib.so.1
libgimpui.so.1
libgimp.so.1
libgdk.so.1
libgck.so.1
libc.so.6
ld-linux.so.2
glibc >= 2.06
/sbin/install-info

When I went to download the above files, I noticed that these were
listed for version 5.0. Can I still use these files even though I have
version 4.2? If not, where could I find a version of The GIMP and the
needed files for version 4.2. I'm not quite ready to update my Linux
version yet. Also, about the /sbin/install-info - what is this file?

Thanks,

Kent
