I use pop to retrieve mail from the university server without a
problem. I can not however seem to send mail without this irritaing error
(smtp_send_helo:HELO requires domain adress 501). The sendmail configuration
file is one of the most complex incomprehensible configuration files I have
ever seen. The configuration file seems to be a mixture of cryptic commands
and hex. Poor programming.
There must be an easy way to fix this problem through the applix
mail gui interface or am I not understanding something fundemental here ?
