I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if there is a more
appropriate place let me know.
I just installed the Netscape Communicator 4.04 rpm package for RHL 4.2.
When I try to set up the mail server (using the same settings as my Win95) I
get an error. I'm sorry, but I can't remember exactly what the error says
(as I'm back in Win95 to send this) but it was something to the effect that
it wasn't a valid host. I am using a dial-up to access the internet through
school.
This is the entry in my Win95 version:
Outgoing mail (STMP) Server cnmailsvr.nmsu.edu
Incoming mail Server cnmailsvr.nmsu.edu
When I enter the preferences dialog box in the linux version it shows:
Outgoing mail (STMP) Server local.host
Incoming mail Server pop
Thanks
