I bought the Red Hat Linux library CD with its "650,000 pages of
searchable Unix & Linux reference material" but am having problems
installing under RH 5.0. This is not a supported RH product so there is
no hope for any help from RH. I tried. The instructions are to mount the
CD-ROM and run a script called install.sh from root of the CD. I get the
following error.

Installing Red Hat Linux Library rpms
rpm: no packages given for install
   rpm reported an error

and the install aborts.

Any one seen this behavior? I am trying to dig my way thro the script
itself and have not found the cause. ( i am no shell script expert
either)

I tried to install the rpms on the cd directly with glint but that
didn't work either. glint did something too quickly for me to see what
it was and the package didn't appear in the installed packages list.
Executing the command rhlibrary afterwords failed so I don't think glint
really did anything. I really would love to be able to browse this CD
and now all I can do is browse the html portion of the CD. Please help!!

TIA,

bakki
