Anyone hear (from a good source) if Sendmail is going commercial? A local
Microsoft Zealot pushed this little tidbit in my face:

<quote>
For those of you that are familiar with the most widely used message
transfer agent on the Internet, Sendmail, they announced today they are
going to start charging for their product. Much like Linux, Sendmail is
and has been free for quite some time.....until today. When asked the
reason for their decision to go public, Company President and CEO Greg
Olson had this reply:

"The Internet is going into the mainstream," said Olson. "If freeware
doesn't step up to the requirements of the commercial majority it will
be left behind. Most corporations are not willing to bet the business on
volunteers."
