If anybody can point me to a good solution, I'd appreciate it.
We have a pentium 200 MHz running Redhat 5.0 with 120MB RAM. When booting,
it seems to come through the list fine until it gets to the following:
Partition check:
hda: hda1 hda2
VFS: Cannot open root device 08:05
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:05
Don't be shy, please help. Thanks.
Ciao
Randy
Check your fstab. I have had this problem when moving things around and forgetting
to change / to be the correct /dev/hd[abcd][1234..].
