We like the Seagate TR-4 IDE drives. Aside from the bashing
that they took in LJ several months ago the TR-4 drives are a tremendous
value and we've not seen a problem with several dozen each of the
IDE and SCSI flavors. Expect to spend in the $300-$400 range depending
upon make, model and point of purchase.

www.xig.com, www.metrolink.com are the only places I can
suggest to check this out. We don't do any Hercules cards so I'm
not familiar.

I know the Digital HiNotes work well and the NEC Versa line is
known to work well. We've supplied some Fujitsu models to a couple of
