I don't know if this is relevant at all, but on a couple of 4.2
systems here I've tried to fix the X11R6-contrib-3.2-1 only to be told
if I try to delete it that it's not installed and when I try to
install it that it's already installed. (An attempt to upgrade it
produced first the "is not" and then the "is" response).
