Hello, My laptop can telnet, ftp, finger, etc. to others on the network. Others can ping the laptop and the laptop can ping itself. However, other machines are unable to telnet, ftp, etc to the laptop and the laptop is unable to telnet, ftp, etc. to itself. In all cases the service connects to the laptop and is then rejected.
