Hi,

My company , Ludexpress, has developed a system to build seeker sites,
with Linux, Apache, FreeWAIS & MySQL. These search engines look similar
to yahoo!, with full text search, categories, news list, etc.

see them work on http://www.mangaseeker.com and
http://www.cinemacrawler.com

We are planning to develop a "lunixcrawler", with a local Linux user
group.
The developing time to create such a search site with this system is
about to one week. It just involves creating the HTML and graphics...

We are also developing a java client software to admin the base, manage
URLs, etc...

The most important part of the work to do is to choose the categories
and to fill'em with as many URLs we can...
We need people to do that.

We're planning to finance the resources (mostly bandwidth) needed by
advertisement. Of course, we will freely promote non-commercial linux
sites.

Though we are located in Bordeaux, France, we have a mirror server in
New York : so this site would be reachable from Europe as well as from
the US. We are planning to install a mirror in Asia, too, probably in
Singapore.

Any suggestion about this project would be welcome,
