If I were you, I will wait a couple of years before spending money on a DVD
drive. I am sure you are aware that the so called DVD standard(s) is/are no
standards at all. If I remember correctly, there are three different groups
vying to make their products to be the STANDARD. It is Beta/VHS all over again
and you don't want to bet on the losing horse.
