Hi, I'm having a problem with e-mail getting trashed on a pop server on our linux box. Has anyone else experienced this problem? What appears to be happening is that some of the messages are getting interweaved into others. We have a heterogeneous network with the main mail server being on an HP box running HP/UX 10.20. All incoming/outcoming mail goes through this server, and then is relayed to the pop server if it has the pop server address in it. The e-mail is not garbled for anyone who receives e-mail on the HP server. But as for anyone using the pop server on the linux box, it is garbled. We've applied a bunch of patches to the HP system, and believe that the problem has something to do with the setup on the Lunix box. Our sys/admin has recently applied a patch to our linux system as well. But this hasn't helped either. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Janet Ciavarelli e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] GIS Programmer/Analyst phone: (250)828-3393 City of Kamloops fax: (250)828-0952 British Columbia, Canada ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
