I'm going nuts trying to put together a set of rules that actually
work.  So far the only way I've been able to get _anything_ through is
by setting all my defaults to accept (obviously a bad idea).

Is there, anywhere, an explanation of ipfwadm that's better than the man
page?

Where is forwarding defined?  How does it differ from the -O (output)
rule, aside from the fact that it will take a -m option?

Even with everything set wide open, ftp still fails every time I try to
do a directory listing.  I get:

500 illegal PORT Command
ftp: bind: address already in use


At this point I'm ready to start throwing things.  I thought I'd been
saved when someone pointed me toward the dotfile generator, but all I
ended up with was a longer table that did the same things my homemade
tables do.
