I'm using an older external Zip, and I love it. Until I can get the FAT32
patch to work, I'm using the Zip as intermediate storage so I can download
big Linux stuff in Win95 with the ISDN, then I boot Linux and mount the Zip
(/dev/sda4) and cp the files.

A nice thing about the Zip is that Win95 saw it as soon as I booted and I
don't even need the "Zip Tools" for '95, even though I do have them. I
would bet NT will work the same.

I picked up the Asus SC875 and it's working very well in Windown 95 and
RH5. I am still stuck with EIDE UDMA drives for now, but I'm using:

HP ScanJet 4P
Tandberg TDC-4100 QIC tape
HP 35480A 4mm DAT
Iomega Zip
Philips CDD2600 CD-R

No problems so far. Hurry up if you want one, 'cause Adaptec just scavenged
Symbios (the OEM) and I'm sure the SC875 will end up in the shit-can or a
new selection from the Adaptec "ROM o' the Month" club, and unsupportable
much like some of the Adaptec host adapters.
