I have installed Afterstep (latest version) (on to an acer extensia 390
32mg ram). prior to the install i was
running Metro X. As I was installing logged in as root the install went in
perfectly, but when logged
in under a user account and start my xserver Metro X starts not Afterstep
how can i have Afterstep instead of
Metro.
b) I have been installing pcmcia services and have recompiled the kernal
etc and I just need to setup
the scripts at /usr/src/pcmcia-cs-3.0.0/etc/serial.opts this asks for
address format in the form of
"scheme, socket, instance"
what info are we looking at to put here.
i am using a supported multitech 28k mt2834lt modem
