I have installed Redhat 5.0 and it is working great. One major problem is that I can not get my SCSI 4mm tape to work. I have recompiled the kernel with SCSI tape support and when I issue a mt command it seems to work. The main problem is when I try to back send the command to backup the system it fails. This is the command that I have used in other Unix systems and let me know if there is some thing I need to do for Linux. find / -depth -print | cpio -ocvBf /dev/st0 I might have forgotten something. The tape is an ARCHIVE PYTHON 4mm Thanks +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- David Allred Webmaster/System Admin APPS Software International 6900 E. Camelback Rd.
