I just upgrade XFree86 from 3.3.1 to 3.3.2
This time I build XFree86 using glibc and Threads option.
Server is absolue ok. But I can't run almost all
my old X11 applications. They reports some X11 library
can not be loaded though I have newer version there.
For example, netscape reprots "can't load library 'libXt.so.6'",
but ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt* gives
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root       387202 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.a
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           12 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so ->
libXt.so.6.0
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           12 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6 ->
libXt.so.6.0
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root       334157 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6.0
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root        17002 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXtst.a
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXtst.so ->
libXtst.so.6.1
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXtst.so.6 ->
libXtst.so.6.1
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root        20183 Mar  8 23:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXtst.so.6.1
Could some one tell me how I can make my old apps work without recompiling
them (especially for netscape, I can't even recompile it)?

thanks a lot
xun
