Probably the wrong place to ask this. I'll be glad to know a better
one, just tell me.

Do any of us who believe that there IS a business problem with M$
practices have an organized way to contact the Gov's people working
the Justice suit?

The reason I ask this is that I have thought the emphasis on M$
making Internet Explorer an integral part of Windows isn't a very
strong issue. The difference in performance between integrated and
interfaced software isn't a big issue in people's minds, and, after
all, Netscape is "interfaced" with whatever software in runs on.

There MUST be other more important issues, for example the clear
disadvantage that software companies have in developing for the
MSW environment, in comparison with M$ itself. And the M$ practice
of supporting their applications only until the new version is
released, therebye imposing effectively a tax on the customer
community -- they are more or less forced to upgrade every year,
even though the M$ upgrades offer very little or no improvement.

I believe that we would have more and better OS's and applications
without the M$ dominance. THAT is the issue, not Internet Explorer,
in my view.

But I have learned that my views are so OFTEN wrong. So straighten
me out if that's the case. Otherwise, what about the possibility of
people like us contacting the Gov's Justice people and explaining
what the real problems are?
