I have had the same thing happen with an NT 3.5 Server installation - it left
an unused 1mb chunk at the end of an 850mb disk. I used linux's fdisk to make
it into a partition & used it. Have done several NT installations since & it
has not recurred, although the one where it did occur is the only one I told
the NT setup program to use thhe whhole disk.
I only use Linux fdisk now - muchhh moore flexible.
