Well, I have read two replies to ur query, and I dont think any of em fits
your situtation. I don't think it is a restricted shell problem
(/bin/false), and I dont think it is a modem speed locking thing either.
First, I guess you have a normal ppp account, and not a dialup shell. If
you are disconnected after typing login/password and being authenticated,
then probably the problem is on ur pppd options. Check 'em, or paste ur
/etc/ppp/options file here on e-mail and I'll find out more about it.
