Ahh, but this does not always work. I tried to set that up, but it did
not work :( Any ways to get it to work for all boards?

|I think your hardware must support APM. Then recompile the kernel to
|include APM and "power off on shutdown". It's probably not called
|this exactly but I'm sure you'll recognize it.
