I think you are looking for the 

FEATURE(limited_masquerade)

feature in the file :

/usr/lib/sendmail-cf/cf/redhat.mc

create a new sendmail.cf, and it worked for me (took some hours to find that
one)

Also rememnber to uncomment the virtualuser part under ruleset 97
