Bob:
Actually the install works great now, thank you for asking. I have windows
and Linux working together nicely. I hate to say, for now, I have windows
so I can do the vital things now, while I figure Linux out. I admit that I
really love having Linux running, I get a real charge out of finally having
Unix at home... Although, I need windows since it always installs right
the first time and provides the vital stuff right off the bat. I really
wish I could say the same for linux...
I am considering putting together a really simple to-do, when I get time,
for the list so perhaps someone will think of adding it to the Manual. You
know, I find it kind of silly to put something as vital as details of how
to install various install configurations on man pages when one has to
install first to read them. It is sort of too late once you put the
partitions on incorrectly to read the man pages on how to create your
partitions. I guess "people" expect that one will install 42 times, like
I did to finally get it right. I have always maintained that one should
design products so they work the first time...!!!
Bottom line, though, happy I spent the $50 for Linux, well spent... ( could
I have had more fun with $50, not sure, will let you know!!!...)

Michael,
Just curious if if our dialogue helped or you are still "twisting in the
wind". I *never* want to see any Linux install fail.
