As I understand it, BogoMips are fake on most systems. (From the
BogoMips HOWTO) However, on Pentium 2 machines, it seems that the BogoMips
are roughly equivalent to processor speed in MHz. My P2/400 gets 396.xx
BogoMips, for example. My boss's 300 gets 299... Whereas my P200MMX gets
like 499 or 399, can't remember.
