My understanding is that it will work with 4.11 servers if they have the
bindery
NLM loaded, but not if they allow nds only connections. In this instance
you would need to used a Caldera system. As far as I can see, it is not
possible to run their novel client on a redhat 5.0 system, it may work
on a libc5-based system like 4.2.
Unfortunately it seems that it is too much of an effort to be nds
compatible,
and that the easiest approach is just to not use novell file servers.
