Well, am still having odd issues with this.  I have edited the /etc/hosts.allow
file and continue to be refused from some machines for ftp, but the strange thing
is there are two other linux boxes, one sitting next to the same box on the same
network, which is allowing me access via ftp with similar hosts.allow entries.
Really strange.

May call ya just to chat about this one. . .
