I think I should add to this. "GNU Ghostscript" is a version of Ghostscript that is distributed under the GNU Public Licence. The version of Ghostscript I have made RPMS for is "Aladdin Ghostscript". This program is copyrighted by Aladdin Enterprises. I may refer to "Aladdin Ghostscript" as "AGS" from time to time. A version of Ghostscript is available for commercial licensing from Artifex Software Inc. This program is _neither_ the program known an "GNU Ghostscript" nor the program know as "Aladdin Ghostscript". **** "Aladdin Ghostscript" may be freely used by private individuals and commercial organisations alike; the only restrictions apply to the commercial distribution (i.e. for a fee) of "AGS", works based on it, or including it. **** These restrictions include but are not limited to: distribution with a commercial product but 'without any charge for "AGS"', distribution of "AGS" or any work based on "AGS" if any payment is made in connection with such distribution. However "AGS" may be distributed, for a fee, on CD-ROM (or other media) that contains information that is redistributable for non-commercial purposes without charge (subject to additional restrictions). The licence is quite long but it pertains mostly to the distribution of "AGS" and works based on it. The licence is in a file named PUBLIC.
