I'm wondering out loud what kind of support I can expect if I decide to get a cable modem. Anyone in Loudoun VA tried a cable modem in Linux? If not in Loudoun, VA, then has anyone tried CableVision's version of a cable modem with Linux? Are the cablemodems basically fancy NIC cards?
