Yes, it does matter which BusLogic model you have.  If it is a
MultiMaster model (BT-948, KT-948, BT-958, or KT-958), you may be
encountering a firmware bug that bit me recently.  Go to
www.dandelion.com/Linux/BusLogic.html, and check out the firmware
upgrades at the bottom of the page.  Try flashing your card to
Firmware version 5.06J.  That cured the problem for me.  (If it works,
tell [EMAIL PROTECTED] and Mylex Tech Support about it.)
