Yeh, me too.  I don't care for microsoft.  Mainly because of my low budget,
secondly I can't get
answers to problems as quickly (or accurately) as I can in Linux.  But,  I don't
think bashing Microsoft is smart thing to do.
(even if it is fun).  I think we should be concentrating on useing what little
inovation Microsoft has caused to the desktop industry.
Things like DVD drivers,  better multimedia support, better file maintenace
systems, etc.  Microsoft's whole empire is built on a
friendly looking user interface. Linux can beat that hands down but only if we
get off our apthy and just *do it*.
And yes,  we can still have text base control as well.
