I've been through this as well. Millions (lots anyway) of X Servers are out 
there for NT. I strongly recommend visiting www.orl.co.uk/vnc though.

The code downloads quickly and sets up with no probs, and it's FREE!

This is not quite the same as normal X Servers, the server runs on your 
Linux box and is viewed from a seperate viewer. The killer is that when your 
NT box crashes (don't they all?), the X session still continues on the Linux 
server. You can pick it up from another pc and carry on.

Better still, you can view your NT desktop from your Linux box - do that 
with an X Server :-) Well done Olivetti chaps!
