Just got a new Cyclades Yo multiport card, and the install seems to have gone fine, (including getting mgetty to answer the phone), but my /var/log/messages file is filling up with this: Jun 9 18:32:03 alice mgetty[3285]: failed in mg_init_data, dev=ttyC0, pid=3285 Jun 9 18:32:49 alice mgetty[3303]: init chat failed, exiting...: Interrupted system call /dev/ttyC0 is the only device with a modem attached, and the modem is a USR Sportster 28.8. As far as I know, the only config info which mgetty is getting about this device is in /etc/mgetty+sendfax/mgetty.config, in these lines: port ttyC0 debug 8 statistics-file /var/log/ttyC0stats data-only y Can someone pitch me a tip here?
