what filesystem do i use...i tried the following:L
i created ram under /mnt and typed:
mount /dev/ramdisk /mnt/ram
and it said "can't find valid MSDOS filesystem on dev 01:00
how do i create a ramdis for use with my data files
dmesg says I have 16 ramdisks of 4096k size

Yes there is , as far as I know it comes by default in the
intalation's kernel whatch it with "dmesg" if it is running if not, you
will have to build the kernel with that option.
