I hope this isn't too off-topic, but can someone
please help me with sendmail? It keeps
segfaulting when I start it:

[root@hostname mail]# /usr/lib/sendmail -bi -d44.4
safefile(/etc/sendmail.cf, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6000, mode=400):
safedirpath(/etc, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6000):
        [uid 0, nlink 1, stat 100644, mode 400] OK
safefile(/etc/sendmail.cw, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6580, mode=400):
safedirpath(/etc, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6580):
        [uid 0, nlink 1, stat 100644, mode 400] OK
safefile(/etc/mail/relay-domains, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6580, mode=400):
safedirpath(/etc/mail, uid=0, gid=0, flags=6580):
        No such file or directory
Segmentation fault

[root@hostname mail]# pwd
/etc/mail

As you can see, the directory does exist, so why
would it claim otherwise?
