        I don't really have an answers to your questions, but I myself
have recently update my Imlibs to 1.3
(http://www.enlightenment.org/development.html) from the src - I don't
know where the 1.4 comes from.  I have had a great deal of problems with
these new libs, and not being able to dynamically resize Eterm (0.8)
windows anymore - something about Free-pixmap errors.  I'd suggest
sticking with the old unless you really need them. YMMV
