Well, I remembered that /dev had to be copied over (duh!!) and that got
rid of the console message. Well, now booting (still using the old hd w/
lilo on it) hands at mounting the root file system, it just stays there. I
can press ctrl-alt-delete and reboot, so it's not gone for good, but I
have no idea...
