Hello everyone, got a new problem. I have a small lan at home
consisting of 4 computers. One is set up with a modem and ethernet card as
gateway, and has IP-Masquerading set up on it. I tried to set up diald, so
anyone could make the gateway dial from the lan when trying to connect to
an outside address, but it won't work, for some reason. I'm assuming I've
just configured diald incorrectly, but here's the problem: When I try to
get to something outside from the gateway machine, it works great. Diald
dials the modem and after it connects, whatever I'm trying (telnet, ssh,
ftp, etc...) works. But I can't get it to work when I try to contact
something outside the gateway from any of the machines inside the lan.
Diald doesn't even get any packets. Anyone know how to fix this?
Matt
