Hi all,

I don't know why but Netscape is establishing connections to my pop
every time, not only when i tell it to retrieve my mails; i'm noting
this indirectly with my modem leds flashing on insignificant actions and directly by
running netstat.

Why Netscape need to be sure every time that my pop account is alive?
It could work on offline mode in the linux version? or it's related
to a network overall configuration (named, bind, etc...)?

Many thanks in advance.

ciao fede

p.s. I'm sorry but probably this mail will be resent to the list
w/ a warning message from okpcm.com (see all the headers :-( ),
i've attempted to stop this going on but it seems not depending
on me, of course if someone has hints and suggestions i'll very
glad to apply them.
