You might want to take a look at either recompiling your kernel
with AIC-7xxx support, or looking for the modules to get it working. I'd
check, but I don't have a stock system installed anywhere :) Anyway, in
the kernel compile (using make menuconfig), there is an option called "< >
Adaptec AIC7xxx support (NEW)" in the SCSI low-level drivers section of
the SCSI support section. That's the one you need. I've got a dell P2/300
here with an onboard 2940UW that this works perfectly for. HTH
