I've got some shellscripts that I use (invoked from cron) to start a ppp
connection to my office then do a (yuck) uucp transfer via that connection.
I can send you (sanitized) versions of that stuff if you want to send me
private e-mail requesting it. You can probably modify it to do what you're
wanting.
