Hi! I have lots of trouble setting up a single NIS server for my local net using RedHat 5.1 I set domainname to my domainname. I changed /var/yp/securenet according to my network. But when I try to run make in /var/yp it bombs out with: [root@picard yp]# make gmake[1]: Entering directory `/var/yp/isdn.cs.tu-berlin.de' gmake[1]: *** No rule to make target `Makefile', needed by `/var/yp/ypservers'. Stop. gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/var/yp/isdn.cs.tu-berlin.de' make: *** [target] Error 2 There was no such problem with RedHat 5.0 It makes no difference if I try ypinit -m or simply run make. I am really frustrated now. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!
