I've noticed two 'inconveniances' upgrading from 5.0 -> 5.1 and upgrading from bsdi 2.1 -> 5.1. 1) Xwin/Netscape used to be very stable onder RHL 5.0 I've never experienced any crashes, however since I've upgraded my machine to RHL 5.1 Netscape will sometimes close when ever I click on the 'Back' option. An other more irritating (imho) bug is that Xwin will close if netscape is loading a page and I try to go to an other virtual window of fvwm (ie in window 2 netscape is loading a page and I want to goto window 1 using CTRL+left arrow) Xwin then crashes on a 'signal 11' or so. 2) Under BSD/os and RHL 4.2 it was possible to re-connect to a newserver if it had timed out, with both RHL 5.0 and 5.1 tin totaly freaks out, looping into sending 'signal 11' to the terminal. (this happands on all my systems which have RHL installed) Q: do others experience these symtomps ? Did you find a solution ? bEST Regards, -AJ- -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
