Ok, I'm not realy sure about the corect terms for all these questions, so please bare with me. I have one p75 multihomed redhat 5.1 box, conected to my company lan on one card and to my isp on the other. This box acts as our conection to the internet. (*making it a firewall or a proxy or are they the same thing??) I'm running squid on this box for http proxying, but it only workes to go get the home page of the isp and other "local stuff". Running lynx on this box gets the same results, i can't go anywhere. How do i set this up so that my box actualy uses the corect gateway on there side to get out to the world? my lan is on 192.168.10.* so I dont want to send that out to the world correct? I'm curently doing this on an nt box with winproxy, but I am very tired of the 2 person limit on that demo and of the slow speed and constant crashing. I guess if anyone can point me to the corect howto I would at least know where to start. Will linuxconf be the best tool to use to configure this? or is there a better way? Please ask anything you might need to know more spacificaly to set this running, any help is better than my stumbling around in the dark. thanks --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brad Wyman [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
