There should be a RPM file of C-Kermit on the Red Hat site somewhere.
Or you can grab either a binary or the source code from kermit.columbia.edu
and roll your own. I just compiled the latest C-Kermit beta (6.0.193) on
my Red Hat 4.1 box at home with zero difficulty.

I use /dev/cua3 (since my modem is on COM4/IRQ5). Some people advocate
abandoning the cua devices, but all I know is it works for me.
