No, IRQ7 is used for LPT1.  But, IRQ5 may have been assigned to a different
card by the BIOS.  The busmouse card that I had needed IRQ5, since it was
really old.  I therefore had to tell the BIOS that IRQ5 was needed by
an ISA legacy card so that it wouldn't assign it to anything automatically.

Check your BIOS IRQ assignments.
