I recommend RH 5.0 users to at least upgrade to
sndconfig-0.21-2.i386.rpm .
I think RedHat fixed the bug where it blows away lines in the
/etc/conf.modules file (particularly "alias eth0" stuff). :) Other
packages
can happily be put on a 5.0 system with much fan fair.
